Team China uniform maker sources cotton from Xinjiang

A major part of China’s alleged systematic and state sponsored repression of the Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities is its program of forced labor. Hundreds of thousands of people in Xinjiang have been forced to work in cotton and other industries, according to the US and other governments. China denies those allegations. But rights groups say the product of forced labor has been found in supply chains across the world, possibly in uniforms and merchandise at the Olympic games.
